A bunch of Archeologist has discovered an ancient mummy inside an underground structure on Peru’s central coast.
The Experts predict that it will be more than 800 years old.
The mummy was discovered in the Lima region and, the gender of the structure has not been identified yet.
“The main characteristic of the mummy is that the whole body was tied up by ropes and with the hands covering the face, which would be part of the local funeral pattern,” said Van Dalen Luna, from the state university of San Marcos.
The Archeologist has started their experiments to find out the actual region and era of the mummy.
“Radiocarbon dating will give a more precise chronology,” added Van Dalen.
Some ceramics, stone-made tools, and vegetable seeds were found from that underground structure in the Lima region.
Peru is widely famous for its ancient archaeological sites and, thousands of tourists over the world visit Peru regularly.
