Part two of a behemoth of a work part one of which surfaced in February digitally sees Moses Sumney take on the mantel of soul prog entrepreneur and mostly succeed. Whatever you may think of Sumney you can’t deny this is something of a unique work. It’s a twisted but often beautiful take on soul that some may find disconcerting. It does have a whiff of procrastination holding onto its leash for sure but when it flies it does so majestically. Without creatives like Moses Sumney the world would be a lot duller.
