BBQ season is nearly upon us! If you want to enjoy some time outdoors with your loved ones over a BBQ, this is one recipe that’s guaranteed to be a hit.
Ingredients:
- Vegetable oil
- 680g boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 2 teaspoons fine sea salt
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
- 435g barbecue sauce
- 6 buns
- 250g coleslaw
Method:
First, heat a grill over medium-high heat and lightly oil the hot grates. Next, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and place on the grill for 5 minutes, then flip, brush with some of the barbecue sauce, and continue to grill until cooked through. Once cooked through, move the chicken to the plate and wait to cool. Next, using 2 forks shred the chicken, add to a bowl, and mix with the remaining barbecue sauce. Add the shredded chicken to the bun, add in your coleslaw and enjoy!
