Hey, Come On! is the new single from indie trio Thee More Shallows.
It is 3 minutes and 24 seconds long it’s actually not all that bad, and it is from the album ‘Dad Jams’ which comes out on both digital and CD formats on the 28th May 2021.
As well as a limited-edition vinyl LP (200 copies on 180g white vinyl), which can be ordered from Monotreme Records.
The album, Dad Jams, can actually be one for dads out there like it and some of the tracks are about the joys of fatherhood and being a dad. Other songs on the album are about both personal and creative choices, and the trajectory that life can take sometimes.
I openly admit I’m not a dad but am an uncle, but it’s actually really good to have an album which both sees and celebrates things from a male perspective and some of the things that come with it. And why not, it’s been a long time coming since we’ve had much else.
