The Film Independent Spirit Awards will be handed out at a ceremony tonight, which will be hosted by Nick Kroll and John Mulaney. These awards are quite special because they recognise all the amazing work done on smaller budget films that haven’t necessarily entered the mainstream.
This year’s nominees include ‘The Big Sick’, ‘Good Time’ and ‘The Killing of a Sacred Deer’ and also includes some mainstream contenders like ‘Get Out’, ‘Call Me By Your Name’ and ‘Lady Bird’.
