This book is a true treasure. In under 100 pages it shines a light on some of the greatest friendships ever to exist – and yes, this includes fictional personalities as well as celebrity figures. It is uplifting and fluently written, enlightening in the sense that it draws upon the ties that bond different kinds of duos (including identical twins Mary-Kate & Ashley, political partners Barack & Joe, sassy sisters Beyonce & Solange and ambitious actors Seth & James). The succint summaries are light-hearted yet meaningful and the individual accounts have real depth and human interest value. The illustrations are a wonderful addition and complement the accounts perfectly. This is a celebration of friendships that should be acknowledged for its positivity and prominence.
