Charli XCX Shares Playlist to Celebrate Woman’s History Month

Charli XCX has taken to Spotify to create a playlist celebrating Women’s History Month.
Since 1987, the month of March has seen the celebration, observance and recognition of women’s role in history and contemporary society. The initiative grew from the previously observed Women’s History Week, which was started as a reaction to the lack of knowledge about women’s history.
The pop star has curated a playlist for Topsify, featuring women she has “worked with, written with, collaborated with, and is inspired by”. It features Dua Lipa, Sigrid, Cardi B, Sophie, MQ, and more.
Charli also marked International Women’s Day, which took place yesterday (March 8), with a post on her Twitter page. “Women are bold,” she wrote. “Women are inspiring. Women are beautiful. Women are determined. Women are powerful. Women come through struggle. Women support other women.
