On 7 June Prince would have celebrated his 60th birthday. In aid of this an event called New Power Generation – or NPG for short -has been developed to mark this occasion and allow his fans to continue to acknowledge the works of this musical great.
Held at the London Indigo O2 Arena, this celebration of Prince acts as an epic tribute to the superstar. The show will see an amazing musical performance by the renowned backing group that played, toured, wrote and recorded alongside the icon.
As well as memorable performances by those involved with Prince there will be many others included – you can expect several world class musicians, singers and artists to be present at NPG.
Prince’s music has remained popular across the decades and continues to be played on radio stations to this date. NPG is your chance to fully immerse yourself in the music of this industry sensation and celebrate his musical achievements.
