Former ‘Love Island’ Contestant Sophie Gradon Died Aged 32

Tributes have been paid to Sophie Gradon, the former Love Island contestant and Miss Great Britain, who has died at the age of 32.
A spokeswoman for Northumbria Police said “At about 8.27pm on Wednesday(June 20) police attended a property in Medburn, Ponteland, where sadly a 32-year-old woman was found deceased.
“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. A report will now be prepared for the coroner.”
Gradon was crowned Miss Newcastle and Miss Great Britain in 2009 and later appeared on the 2016 series of the ITV2 dating show.
Her boyfriend Aaron Armstrong paid tribute to his girlfriend on Facebook by uploading a photo of the couple and he wrote: “I will never forget that smile.”
The organizers of the programme, which recently started its latest series, also expressed condolences saying “shocked beyond belief”. She was also praised on twitter as “a beautiful soul”.
