You have to admire Lenny Kravitz. Here he is back in 1993 with an absolute monster hit in Are You Gonna Go My Way and he’s never stopped producing wonderful songs since. Many would have put their feet up but not Lenny, and here on his eleventh studio album he’s still a master of music. Raise Vibration is simply the continuation of one of this generation’s geniuses of sound on record. Where Kravitz scores highly is by being diverse enough to stay interesting but still have enough style to be able to let an album gel naturally. This is a wonderful platter of songs by a genuine superstar.
