‘YO-HO’, ‘HOORAY’, it was Pirate Day in Adventure Bay, and what a jolly time there was to be had.
Ryder and his furry friends bound on stage to the blaring sounds of the familiar theme tune, and kids from each corner of the packed arena gasp in amazement at these cartoon pups being spectacularly brought to life. The audience is invited to join in from the very beginning, and there wasn’t a child (or adult!!) in the house that didn’t happily sing and shout along. The puppeteers navigating the pups throughout their adventure really embodied the different characters, which made it all the more real.
As the adventure unfolds, Cap’n Turbot seeks out a picture of the infamous Pirate Parrot, Ryder and the pups go up against Mayor Humdinger in search of the long lost treasure of Larry Longbottom, and Chickaletta… well, Chickelattea does what she always seems to do – need rescuing! The show encompasses lots of great features to keep even the most restless of three-nagers entertained, from the easy to follow storyline to the panto-esque ‘he’s behind you’ moments, the quirky sing-a-longs to the colourful costumes and graphics. With light up souvenirs in hand, dancing down the aisles, kids will relish in the fun whilst adults won’t be able to help themselves bopping along to the catchy music throughout and sniggering at the pirate jokes that may well go over the little ones heads. Fun for all the family, Paw Patrol Live sails off to continue it’s journey across the UK.
