Tremendous Flood in Nepal, India and Bangladesh: Death Toll Rising

Heavy rainfall has caused Flooding and landslides across parts of south Asia which has killed more than 50 people, millions have been affected and the death toll is still rising.
Making atleast 30 people missing and 38 injuring in Nepal who are either swept away by swollen rivers or buried by mudslides, the flood has killed 50 people said the Nepal’s National Emergency Operation Centre in a phone interview on Sunday. The flood has badly destroyed the west of the country, Bed Nidi Kfanal.
Nine key highways remained blocked in Nepal by floods and mudslides, and attempts were underway to open them up for traffic. Police and soldiers cleared the other roads. Because of the terrific weather helicopter were grounded.
In north-east India, 25 people have died till now and the number of dead can be rise confirmed Mohamad Farukh, the chief executive of Rapid Response.
“750 People from the worst-affected states, Assam and Bihar, had been rescued in the previous three or four days,” said the government on Saturday.
Drowning tens of thousands of homes the flood has also hit the Bangladesh which caused a dozen of
people who lost their lives over the weekend after being struck by lightning since Saturday as the heavy monsoon continues, officials told The AP.
About 40,000 people have been affected, mostly due to their homes being submerged underwater, said Rabiul Islam, Water Development Board.
Bangladesh, a low-lying delta country of 160 million individuals with in excess of 130 waterways, is inclined to storm floods in view of flooding streams and the overwhelming surge of water from upstream India.
The monsoon season, which lasts from June to September every year. Last year, more than 1,200 people died across the region in monsoon storms.
