Miley Cyrus Undergoes Emergency Vocal Cord Surgery: Shows and Recordings on Hold

Miley Cyrus was hospitalized for tonsillitis last month where she undergoes a vocal cord surgery and will have to rest her voice for a while.
Reportedly the 26-year-old singer was told by the doctors she has a separate issue with her vocal cords and she would need surgery before the end of the year which will take several weeks to recover.
Cyrus has to keep silent and she has to put plans for new music on hold until she is better.
The star is now recovering in hospital and throughout the time period, she is getting the company of her boyfriend Cody Simpson.
Sharing a black-and-white photo of the pair alongside the word, “success”, Cody Simpson, appeared to make a reference to the surgery.
Reportedly, she’s “doing great and will be back and better than ever early next year”.
Cyrus took to Instagram Story to share photos of herself resting in bed after her tonsillitis diagnosis, last month.
Her last live performance was back in September, where she took the stage at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.
