Last night, Beyoncé was joined onstage by Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child for a reunion performance at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Together, they performed “Lose My Breath,” “Say My Name,” and “Soldier”. Earlier on in her set, JAY-Z made an appearance to duet with Beyoncé on “Déjà Vu. Beyoncé also brought out her sister Solange to dance through “Get Me Bodied.” “Thank you for allowing me to be the first black woman to headline Coachella,” she told the crowd at the end of the set.
Beyoncé expressed her exhilaration with the comeback, stating : “I’m so happy right now”. Though that is not nearly as excited as the fans seeing the rumours become reality.
It was teased, rumoured that Beyoncé might be joined by some “special guests” during her performance. “Beyonce and Destiny’s Child are reuniting,” a source said. Now the rumour has become true.
“Coachella, thank you for allowing me to be the first black woman to headline,” Beyoncé said earlier in her 24-song set.
