Birmingham, Solihull & Sandwell Jazz Festival Launch

WhatsOn had the pleasure of attending the Birmingham, Solihull & Sandwell Jazz Festival press launch earlier today, and it was a real musical treat.
The event involved talks by the organisers and a special performance by the Budapest Ragtime Orchestra (a band originated from Hungary), which was lively and incredibly impressive.
The scene was perfectly set in the buzzing hub that is The Marmalade at THE REP in Birmingham. Loads of people visited to network and enjoy a snippet of smooth jazz in a launch marking the start of a great Midlands based arts festival.
The Birmingham, Solihull & Sandwell Jazz Festival runs from 20 – 29 July and covers a range of venues in its bid to bring the joy of jazz music to a wide spectrum of people.
