The pop star Britney Spears has unveiled a previously recorded song through her label RCA Records to celebrate her 39th birthday. Puza Snigdha reports.
The song dropped on 2nd December is ready to stream now.
The newly released track is a part of the singer’s last album, 2016’s ‘Glory’.
The singer is in Maui with her boyfriend Sam Asghari for two weeks to celebrate her birthday. Or we can say that she wanted a relief from her current situation.
Britney started teasing the song from November which came like a surprise gift for her fans as there is a legal battle going on with her father regarding conservatorship, which also claims that Spears “will not perform again”.
Britney hasn’t been talking to her father Jamie Spears and having a legal battle. Jamie is the legal guardian of Britney for 12 years and a controversy is going on that Jamie doesn’t want Britney to continue her career.
According to Brtiney’s lawyer, the singer is “afraid” of her father and appealed to the Los Angeles judge to remove her father from her conservatorship but Judge Brenda Penny declined to suspend James Spears from his central role.
“My client has informed me that she is afraid of her father,” Ingham, Brtiney’s lawyer told the judge and added, “She will not perform again if her father is in charge of her career.”
Meanwhile, Britney posted a dance video with a cryptic caption back in September that flaunting her body. The video made her fans confused that maybe the ongoing battle is affecting her mental health.
Earlier this month, Spears also addressed fans’ concerns over her wellbeing in a new video.
