Chance The Rapper proposed to his girlfriend, Kirsten Corley, at a 4th of July barbeque.
The award-winning musician surprised longtime girlfriend Kristen Corley by casually dropping down on one knee and asked her to be his wife while surrounded by family and friends.
Family and friends cheered as it happened and she said yes. The couple’s 2-year-old daughter looked along to make the cipher complete.
The on-off couple have been dating since in 2013 but ended their relationship after three years in 2016, one year after the arrival of their daughter but the couple got back together in 2017.
About the birth of his daughter in 2016, the musician wrote on Instagram: “I wanted make a grandiose and poetic statement with her weight and size and DOB to show how much this means to me.
“But I think it’d be more appropriate and fatherly of me to just say thanks to those who helped us during this pregnancy.”
