This is a show of various fascinating carved beeswax sculptures including procession of lighting candles for peace and happiness. Many of the sculptures features the local culture and traditions. This is also an international candle carving competition where famous wax artists participants from around the world.
The casting of these wax sculptures is done as a sign of respect to Buddha and these Buddhist monks, and the sculptures are presented as a gift to local temples at the end of the ceremony. Guests can also enjoy the local specialty food Pha Khao Laeng, prepared especially for the event.
