This is a really polished book with a story that twists and turns at every corner. The writing is compelling and comprehensive, and there are so many ripples in the story that you will be kept guessing throughout.
This is a thriller/mystery that revolves around the disappearance of two boys; best friends who were holidaying on the sandbank with their families when a tragic and mysterious event causes chaos and calamity in an otherwise peaceful beach location.
The story follows the mothers of the missing boys – Sarah and Isla – close long-term besties who are each harbouring dark secrets that, when brought to light, will bring to the surface all kinds of problems.
A real page turner with creative flair. The author of this offering has managed to pull off an emotional and somewhat complicated storyline with great ease.
Very enjoyable – I would certainly recommend this.
