In the UK, Mother’s Day is celebrated three weeks before Easter Sunday and in this year it falls on 11 March . This day is celebrated every year with great enthusiasm to show deep feelings of love, care and respect for the Mother. Gifts, cards, flowers, special meals etc are offered to showcase affection for mothers or maternal figures. Mothers can also be taken for an indulgent afternoon tea or book tickets to a theatre show. This also became a time for families to reunite.
