North Korea has commented for the primary time at the contemporary rapprochement at the peninsula, announcing warming members of the family with Seoul and Washington are due to its “proactive measure and peace-loving proposal”.

America and South Korea announced the resumption of annual army drills, previously postponed due to the Olympics, starting 1 April, but the exercises will likely be shortened by a month in a conciliatory sign forward of negotiations. North Korea typically bristles at the drills and in previous years has replied with missile launches.
