A new biopic exploring the relationship between Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne is under development. Anika Khan reports.
The Osbourne family has recently announced to be reuniting onscreen on a paranormal reality show names, ‘The Osbournes Want to believe’. Jack Osbourne will be trying to make-believe his skeptical parents about the paranormal presence in real life. In an interview about the reality show, the family has revealed that an adult biopic is also on the way of development.
The film is reported to cover the life of Ozzy and Sharon from 1979 to1996. In an interview, Ozzy said that the movie will dwell with the accounts of their first meeting, how they fell in love and eventually got married.
Speaking about Sharon, Ozzy said, “She’s my other half. She grew up a lot with me, and I grew up a lot with her.” She further revealed that she wants the movie to be authentic and true to its time. “Our film will be a lot more real. We don’t want it to be squeaky, shiny clean, and all of that. “Furthermore, a new actor will play Sharon’s part in the biopic.
The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne is set to premiere in the USA on 7 of September. The film is a chronicle and tribute to the heavy metal icon’s career and personal life. It will also be featuring interviews with Rob Zombie, Post Malone and Marilyn Manson.
