Palestinian Solidarity Protests

Thousands of protesters gathered near the White House to express their anger at the US President’s tolerance of the war in Gaza. Chanting “From DC to Palestine, we are the red line,” they displayed a banner bearing the names of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces.

In a show of solidarity, protesters demanded an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. They unfurled a two-mile long red banner, symbolizing ‘the People’s red line,’ as a powerful visual statement.

Across the Atlantic, tens of thousands marched through central London, waving Palestinian flags and carrying placards with messages such as “Ceasefire now” and “End genocide.” Their calls for justice echoed loudly through the streets.

As the UK approaches a general election, the pro-Palestinian protests from Russell Square to the Houses of Parliament highlight the war in Gaza’s potential impact on the vote. Campaigners believe the War will significantly influence public opinion and the election outcome.
