The first teaser trailer of ‘The Batman’ movie has been released yesterday at the DC FanDome virtual event. The movie which is directed by Matt Reeves is expected to come out sometime in 2021.
Here are what we know about the new batman movie so far from the trailer
1. The trailer shows the first sneak peak of actor Robert Pattinson as the new Bat man in an interesting new direction.
2. With a fantastic background score of Nirvana’s “Something in the Way,’ the trailer introduces us to the dark knight as he steps in to fight against the mob in Gotham city.
3. From what we can gather from the trailer, Robert Pattinson’s portrayal of Batman will be much darker than that portrayed by Christian Bale and Ben Affleck in the previous movies.
4. We will see Pattinson as the masked vigilante, ‘the vengeance’ rather than the hero who saves Gotham city.
5. We are introduced to ‘Commissioner Gordon’ who is portrayed by Jeffry Wright, ‘Cat woman’ by Kravitz, and the ‘Riddler’ by Paul Dano.

The movie’s production was abruptly shut down due to the global pandemic. The filming is set to resume next month with an expected release in October 2021.
