Sherpa Women Breaks Her Record!

Mountain climber Lakpa Sherpa, a Nepali woman broke her record as the most successful female climber of Mount Everest.

On Friday Lakpa complete the 29,032-foot summit for the 10th time along with her brother and other several climbers.

Expedition organizer Mingma Gelu said, “She was in good health and was safely descending from the peak.”

“She has always said she wanted to inspire all women so they too can achieve their dreams. She proved that too” he added.

Lakpa Sherpa is a 48 years old woman who has been carrying climbing gears and supplies for trekkers since her childhood.

Another Nepalese Sherpa guide Kami Rita also breaks his climbing record by completing the summit for the 26th time.

Rita mainly works in fixing the ropes in the Himalaya so that hundreds of climbers and guides can smoothly make their way.

Ongoing May month is the perfect time for climbing Mount Everest measuring the weather conditions.
