Porikunda waterfall is interesting place and natural attraction to visit in dry season as well as in rainy season which is surrounding the Madhabkunda. The place is full of different kind of trees so it gives a feel of nature.
The waterfall is located in Barlekha Upazila of Moulvibazar districtPorikinda waterfall is not that much well known place as it is located inside the “Madhabkunda Echo Park”. So the place is not that crowdy as Madhabkunda. Porikunda falls is just before the Madhabkunda falls. This place is surrounded by green mountains. The Mountains are around 150 feet high, rocky hillside steeped in steep hillside. The tides rolled down in small and big stones, and the streams mixed with a big spread. The striking view can be enjoyed by standing on the large rocks. One take bath in the crystal clear water. During the rainy season the waterfall is full and it takes a different look.
This waterfall is situated inside the Eco Park, so for transportation details are same as Madhabkunda. One can reach to Moulvibazar from Dhaka only via bus directly or by train. Then to reach Moulovibazar take local bus or CNG.
